DVD+R/+RW
This drive lets you do everything a DVD-ROM does and you can write, erase, and re-write data onto a CD-R, DVD+R, or DVD+RW.

A DVD+R can typically hold up to 4.7 GB of information, more than 6 times that of a CD-R, allowing you to save huge files: video, photo, and music.

DVD-RW and DVD+RW are proprietary types of the same kind of optical drive and don't share compatible types of DVD media.
